After 31 hours Santa and his Elf were released from the Travis County Jail and are now facing Class B Misdemeanors of Criminal Mischief which carries a punishment of a fine not to exceed $2,000 and/or confinement in jail for a term not to exceed 180 days.
This injustice was also covered by Russia Today and the Huffington Post.
This is not the first time peaceful activists have been arrested for using chalk on the sidewalks of their own Capitol. Chanda Seymour stood up to the DPS thugs in March of 2011.
