“It accumulates in your bones and other places as well,” said Dr. Griffin Cole, an Austin dentist and opponent of fluoridated water. “Let’s get the warning on our label on our city bill, and let’s just get it out of the water. It’s time,” added Cole.

Members of Texans for Accountable Government and Fluoride Free Austin met with our Austin City Council, Public Health and Humans Services (PHHS) Sub Committee to discuss placing a fluoridation health warning on our water bills for infants and children.

The PHHS Sub Committee decided to place a fluoridation statement (similar to what is on their website) onto a yearly insert to residents and post the statement at WIC and Neighborhood Centers across Austin.
